Hi Jeanne, I love this print; it’s beautiful! Which carving blocks do you use, if you don’t mind me asking? I ordered some recently (polymer) and they have a strong chemical smell so I’m looking for a healthier alternative.

I use a block that is kind of like an large eraser that I order from Japan. You can buy some on etsy. I also use soft cut printing blocks that you can buy at dick block. Good luck!

Do you have a DIY post where you talk about dyes you use? I’m interested in designing my own fabric but afraid it will wash out in the wash or smear the design… Love your stuff, found it on Pinterest!

      HI,
I don’t have a post on dyes I use…I actually use woodblock printing inks. I use either an oil based ink or water based ink from a company called Daniel Smith or another one called Graphic Chemical. You can also buy fabric inks and paints from Dick Blick or Dharma Trading. I heat set the fabric which makes it last through many washes. Good Luck!
