Embroidery

I spent a lot of time as a teenager embroidering. I used the small book below as my guide:

I decided to do a pattern based on different embroidery stitches. I started out with some drawings:

The drawings looked a lot like flowers so I inserted some grass, etc.:

I’ve entered this pattern in a contest on connecting threads.
