Spring Green

May 15, 2013

I’ve been inspired by the spring green in Minnesota. Below a picture of our blooming pear tree, a willow tree in the park and my current lamp shade fabric:

I love your green prints, I am trying to do something like this to replicate sea urchins. I have tried a lino cut but not very successful. How did you do yours?

Hello to paint or dye used to stamp their fabrics? Thank you.

I use a oil based ink to print the fabrics. I roll ink on to a carved woodblock, lay down fabric onto the block and then print it.

Gracias por tu respuesta, pero mi duda es si es pintura simple de tela de las marcas conocidas o de serigrafia. Gracias.

Thanks for your answer, but my question is whether it is simple fabric painting known brands or silkscreen. Thank you.
