Zig Zags and Triangles

I’ve been working on some zig zags for the Spoonflower weekly contest titled Zig Zag Cheater Quilt. I started out with some drawings:

and then I realized that a Zig Zag is basically made up of triangles(which I’ve been into lately…as seen here and here).
I laid out my triangle drawing with triangles set side by side:

then rotated the drawing 180 degrees and staggered the row below the top row and there it is: a Zig zag!

I did this a few more times with other triangles and created these patterns:

After all that fun with triangles and zig zags the final pattern:
