1 Block, 2 Prints

I’ve been working with this carved woodblock:

Using this block I printed a couple of different ideas for future lamp shades or fabric. This first piece is the block printed once in cream and then a second time in green. I staggered the placement of the block so the cream color showed through the green:

Second time around I printed the block and then printed a grass carved wood block over it…I like the way the leaves and stems show through the grass.
